Planned
Giving
The purpose of the Covenant Society is to recognize members
of our temple community who make planned gifts to Temple Jeremiah
that will allow us to serve the needs of the temple and the
temple community. Click here

Temple Jeremiah was founded in 1959 by people
who wanted a religious institution that would weave together
our Jewish heritage, traditions and ethics with the modern
world. Over the years, each generation of Temple Jeremiah
members has added to the foundation first laid by our founding
members. Through this evolution, the Temple has grown stronger.
In many ways, Temple Jeremiah today is very different than
it was in the beginning. However, our vision and fundamental
goals remain the same.
As the need arises, the Temple will have fundraising projects
for defined purposes, to be completed within a specified period
of time. (The most recent example is the Capital Campaign
for the expansion and rehabilitation of our building.) By
contrast, the objective of the Covenant Society is to foster
long-term endowment giving to insure fulfillment of the needs
of the Temple and community, now and in the future.
There are a variety of ways to become a member of the Covenant
Society, including remembering Temple Jeremiah in one's will
or trust as well as through more sophisticated charitable
gift and estate planning techniques.
