Make Jeremiah Your Spiritual Home
With a full schedule of exciting events, we have opened our
doors so the community can see what an exciting, vibrant,
spiritual and socially conscious synagogue we are.
If you are a member of Temple Jeremiah and know someone
interested in membership, feel free to invite them to any
of our Temple
Jeremiah events. Contact Executive Director Michael
Garlin so
he can extend a personal invitation to our worship services
and programs. If you are an unaffiliated member,
please contact Michael as well to find out about attending
our programs. Our facilities are
fully accessible and all are welcome.

Membership Committee
The mission of the Membership Committee within
Temple Jeremiah is to retain and engage the current membership
and attract new members.
To accomplish this goal, the lay leadership, in partnership
with the senior staff, provides activities,
programs, events and communications for our entire temple
membership and assists in integrating them into the temple
community. In addition, we promote our temple, its excellent
staff and the Center for Learning
programming to the general public and host events geared toward
membership recruitment.
The Membership Committee is made up of the following chairs:
Amy Torf
- Membership Contact
Anita Straus
- Empty Nester Chair
Randi Gurian and Betsy
Rooth - Jeremiah Boomers Group Co-Chairs
Belin Award
Temple Jeremiah was one of eight Honorable Mention recipients
named by the Belin Awards Committee of the Union
for Reform Judaism (URJ) for outstanding Outreach and Membership
programs. This marks the fifth time the temple has received
this honor. The Belin Award recognizes superior programs "from
around North America that demonstrate a high level of creativity,
originality and replicability." Congratulations to our
Membership Committee on receiving this coveted award.
Temple Jeremiah conducted an on-line survey of its members
in February 2009 to find out our members' interest in and
attendance at events and areas of interest. Learn more by
