What's New at Temple Jeremiah

Temple Jeremiah's web site provides the most up to date information on activities, groups and other items of interest. These pages will be updated frequently so check here often.

Family Promise
Temple Jeremiah is participating in Family Promise, a national organization helping homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence. Click above to learn how you can help.

Haiti Earthquake Relief
In the wake of the horrific earthquake that hit the island of Haiti on January 12, 2010, several Jewish organizations have established funds to provide emergency relief. Please click on the link above and give generously.

Chile Earthquake Relief
The Jewish Federation is working closely with Chile's Jewish community to determine the critical next steps to take in the wake of the earthquake that devastated that country on February 27, 2010.

Torah of Our Own Project
The 613th commandment in the Torah is to "write a Torah." As part of the temple's 50th anniversary celebration, congregants have a chance to do just that ... to write in Temple Jeremiah's first proprietary Torah Scroll. Torah of Our Own is one of the temple's most exciting events in its 50 year history. Become part of this once-in-a-lifetime spiritual and fundraising project.

See the photos and view the video from our exciting Opening Ceremony on October 18, 2009 which kicked off our project. In addition, all the scribing session and Opening Ceremony photos can now be viewed and downloaded from our Shutterfly web page.

Sherut L'am ("Service to the People) Volunteer Opportunities
A wide range of opportunities are available to get involved in temple life - from helping out occasionally at temple to serving as a Mentor to a new family to serving on a committee, our Center for Learning or our Caring Community.

In addition, see Social Action to learn about other ways you can lend a hand, both by volunteering and making donations, to the temple and the outside community.
