Opening Day of School

Religious School began with a rousing school assembly featuring entertainment by temple staff and clergy.

Moses paid a special visit to Temple Jeremiah's 6th graders, accompanied by Rabbi Michelle Greenberg.

Book Fair

Just in time for Chanukah, Temple Jeremiah hosted a book fair featuring a wide selection of books for readers of all ages.

October 14, 2007

Consecration

Over 60 1st graders paraded into the sanctuary wearing Temple Jeremiah t-shirts that read "Confirmation Class of 2017."

Israel Extravaganza

Children from pre-school through 9th grade celebrated Israel's 60th birthday with dancing, food, films, songs, crafts and races.

End-of-School-Year Activities

Temple Jeremiah concluded its 2007/08 school year with a special celebration, featuring music by the Shining Lights, storytellers from Northwestern University, crafts, a teacher-honoring ceremony and concluding with a hot dog lunch courtesy of Brotherhood.

Confirmation

Temple Jeremiah gathered as a community over the holiday of Shavuot to acknowledge the achievement of our 10th graders. Our Confirmation class participated in a celebratory Shabbat Service and Dinner on June 6. Confirmands then led us in prayer on June 8, sharing the experiences and insights that led them to their Jewish identities.
