School Social Action
Ongoing Programs
InterAct
This program, led by Rabbi C. Michelle Greenberg, is designed
to help post-Confirmation students - high school through college
- to develop their leadership skills through social justice,
social action and peer cooperation.
Participants will select an issue such as the environment
or health reform for which to advocate. They will then fundraise,
teach, meet with legislators, work with high schools and the
synagogue to development awareness of this topic and enact
solutions.

Greenberg's article.

Wanted: Volunteers for Education Programs
We are looking for volunteers to enhance our educational
programs by creating interactive teaching materials. Our volunteers
use the resources of the Marshall Learning Center in Northbrook,
which provides ready-made sample projects for replication,
such as storybooks, storyboards and games.
This year we hope to expand on the program by offering parent
volunteers the opportunity to select a project, gather the
materials and present it to the grade of their choice.
This is a great way to meet other temple members, learn more
about Jewish topics and contribute to your child's Religious
School experience.
To participate in this project, contact Abby
Lasky or Jennifer
Pfeifer.

College Connection
Help us keep in touch with your college student. Click here
to download a form to send back to the temple so we can stay
connected and send your college student gifts and packages
on religious holidays and other times throughout the year.
