Upcoming Concerts

Chai Society

"Broadway Show Tunes"

Wednesday, May 14, 2008
12:00 pm

Temple Jeremiah's Brotherhood and Sisterhood present a musical fundraiser with the senior concert band, "New Horizons," playing the songs of "Oklahoma," "My Fair Lady" and swing medleys.

Funds from this concert will go toward purchasing a compact fire truck for Israel as part of the Jewish National Fund's program on behalf of Israel's Fire and Rescue Services.

These mini-pumpers, which cost $100,000, are economic, state-of-the-art and highly effective in emergencies and rough terrain. Part of the $18 cost for this month's Chai Society concert will go to the fire truck campaign, so we encourage everyone to come.

To view or download the flyer, click here, then hit the "Bookmark" tab on the left side and click on "Chai Society Concert: Broadway Show Tunes."

-------------------------------------

Modeled after our popular Decades program, Cantor Amy Zussman and other cantors and musicians offer a concert every month along with lunch.

The $18 cost includes a donation to MAZON: The Jewish Response to Hunger.

If you'd like to work behind the scenes planning our Chai Society series, contact Cantor Zussman.
