| Purim Masquerade
Ball -2007/5767
Over
85 congregants enjoyed a fabulous night of revelry and fun
at Temple Jeremiah’s Purim Ball on Saturday, March 3.
The event featured a wide array of entertainment. From the
roving magician, caricature artist, juggler and palm and tarot
reader to the fabulous dinner, music, dancing, dessert bar,
Karaoke and entertainment by our temple staff, it was truly
a night to remember. Proceeds went to support congregational
activities and services.
Our
Live Auction packages featured a variety of gift items. “Escape
to Maui” and “Escape to Florida” offered
exciting getaways. For the sports enthusiast, “A Season
of Sports,” featuring Bulls, Bears and Cubs tickets,
was the perfect ticket. For those who appreciate the finer
things in life, “An Evening of Music and Dance”
provided tickets to the Lyric Opera, Chicago Symphony Orchestra
and Hubbard Street Dance Company. For the health buff, the
“Healthy and Beauty” package featured a LASIK
eye procedure, sessions with a nutritionist and personal trainer,
along with a facial and beauty treatment. Other exciting auction
packages included the “Shopping Extravaganza,”
“Golf the North Shore,” “Home Décor,”
“AM/PM,” featuring a champagne brunch and in-home
wine tasting, “NBC Studio Tour with Allison Rosati,”
“Mystery Theater Dinner,” a “Wine Lovers
Package” and a “Jeremiah Macher Package.”
Our Lock Box Raffle featured fabulous “His & Her
Watches.”
