A Special Documentary presented by the Israel Action Committee
Saturday,
November 8, 2003
Temple Jeremiah's Israel Action Committee aired
this powerful film on the Palestinian-Israeli struggle. "Relentless" offers
a methodical overview of the peace process from the time
of the Oslo Accords to the present day, the commitments made
by Palestinians and Israelis and a look at how the peace
process has unraveled into violence.
Using footage from Palestinian TV, religious
sermons and political rallies, "Relentless" offers
a rare, behind-the-scenes look at Palestinian politics and
culture and the hidden agenda behind the collapse of the
peace process and continued struggle between these two peoples.
Produced by HonestReporting.com, this film challenges the
tendency by the media and intellectuals to paint Israel as
the aggressor in this conflict and reveals the real story
of the Mideast. Although Israel and the PLO had embarked
on a new peace initiative at the time of the Oslo Accords,
Palestinians were in fact being groomed for war, not peace.
The film has sold out to audiences in New York's Times Square's
Loews Theater and has aired in venues in the U.S., Canada,
Israel, England and South Africa.
Bob Schwartz, Director of Political Media Affairs
for the Israel Consulate General of the Midwest, led a discussion
immediately following the film. For more information, log
