Jerusalem's Jewish Quarter
Situated at the southeast corner of the Old City, the Jewish
Quarter has hosted an almost continuous Jewish presence since
the 8th century BCE.
Ein Avdat
This spectacular narrow canyon in the Negev receives water
from various springs which descend into a series of waterfalls.
Timna
Ancient smelting operations have been recovered at this copper
mining site situated in the southern Negev.
Ancient Kite
This site demonstrated the ancient hunting practice of herding
animals into a confined area.
Machane Yehudah
Natives and tourists alike frequent this open air market
in Jerusalem
Mitzpeh Ramon
Originally a military outpost, this small town in the Negev,
with its breathtaking landscapes, has recently become an eco-tourist
destination.
Petra, Jordan
Considered the eighth wonder of the world, this city carved
into rock dates back over 2000 years. Tourists flock here
to view the magnificent temples, water cisterns, tombs, caves,
Roman Theatre, courthouse and Royal Tombs.
