Caring
Community Mission Statement:
To reach out to congregants in times of sadness or celebration.
This committee creates a sense of community among our temple
family through G’milut Chasidim – acts of loving
kindness. We serve as partners with God in caring for one
another.
The Caring Community supports congregants through such activities
as:
- Sending out cards to congregant families during times
of joy and sadness.
- Driving congregants who cannot drive themselves to doctor
appointments and worship services.
- Making follow-up condolence calls following the loss of
a loved one.
- Staying at a mourner's house during a funeral to receive
deliveries.
- Visiting home-bound congregants.
