Shushan Shuffle 5K Family Run/Walk,
Purim Spiel & Purim Carnival
Sunday, March 19
Temple Jeremiah hosted its annual Shushan Shuffle, Purim
Spiel and Carnival. The day's events included:
3RD ANNUAL SHUSHAN SHUFFLE - Participants
enjoyed a good workout! Proceeds benefitted SHALVA, a Jewish
agency aimed at preventing domestic violence and abuse.
PURIM SPIEL- Our talented troupe of Jeremiah
staff and board members presented their own rendition of the
Purim story, written by one of our congregants, complete with
greggers and a Megillah reading.
PURIM CARNIVAL - Congregants joined Tevye,
Golde, Motel, Yente and a cast of other colorful "Fiddler
on the Roof" characters for some light-hearted fun. It
didn't last from sunrise
to sunset, but there was plenty of time
to sing Karaoke, bounce on the Moomwalk, play a variety of
games, win prizes and enjoy lunch and treats.
Thanks to the following organizations who helped
sponsor this worthwhile event:
- Dominick's
- Sunset Foods
- Once Upon A Bagel
- Rainbow Productions
- Skarbek Chiropractic
